The Rzeszów University of Technology, Department of Electronic and Telecommunications Systems, is focused on the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), object radio identification systems (RFID) and hybrid micro- and nano-electronic technology. The department disposes of specialized laboratories equipped with very modern machines. Students are provided with an education aimed at the electronics and telecommunications areas. It covers technology, designing and operating universal and application specific electronic circuits and devices for various electronic and wire/wireless telecommunication systems.
The Department of Electronic and Telecommunications Systems belongs to The Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering which was established in 1965 as the second successive unit of the University.
At present, the Faculty trains over 2600 students at various courses.
