What is JIC 120 seconds?

JIC 120 seconds is an effective networking to support a new collaboration between technology companies and research organizations. Participants meet at round tables according to the schedule. Every business representative has exactly 120 seconds to present his company and possible collaboration opportunities. Participation in the event is free of charge, and only one representative may be present for each company, more than one representative may be involved in the research organization, but only one can represent a single research area.

Industry 4.0 - the fourth industrial revolution

Technological trends suggest that the Internet of Things (IoT) could be the third development phase of the Internet. The number of smartphones sold is already surpassing a billion units, but also other devices such as machines in the industry can be connected to the Internet. Within a few years, according to experts, most industrial enterprises in the world should be digitized by the coming of the fourth industrial revolution known as Industry 4.0. This trend is expected to reduce piece production to production costs of serial production, with all the implications for supply chains in production.
