More than 130 representatives of companies from around the world met at the IQRF Conference in Prague to introduce their IoT solutions.
IQRF Wireless Challenge II Finals: The best wireless applications designed Mark Wendler, Béla Bartos, Jiří Hodan, Csaba Nagy, Roman Ondráček, Daniel Veltruský and Tomáš Rottenberg
IQRF Wireless Challenge II, the contest for the best wireless applications, revealed its winners. There were 47 contestants from 14 countries registered in the contest. The final round was an interactive exhibition of the top ten projects. It took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Czech Technical University in Prague on May 27, 2016. The best applications were designed by participants from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania.
The second day of the IQRF Conference is more technical than the first day. Vladimír Šulc, CEO of Microrisc, introduced new security layers in the IQRF transceivers. This means that your data in IQRF mesh network are secured against attackers from outside the network or even from inside.
IQRF Conference 2016 began! Simon Chudoba, CEO of the IQRF Alliance, kicked off the conference with his presentation about growth of the IQRF Alliance and possible use of the IQRF technology in the smart households.

More than 7500 developers from around the world applauded Jakub Pavlík from tcp cloud after his presentation about IoT solution of collecting sensoric data at OpenStack Summit in Austin, USA. tcp cloud with other members of the IQRF Alliance created sensoric network of 20 CO2 sensors within only three weeks. Those sensors were installed around the whole Austin Convention Center with an area of 80 000 square meters. Data were collected through the wireless IQRF mesh network to Raspberry Pi and then sent to servers in the Czech Republic using Docker, OpenStack or OpenContrail technologies.
