České Radiokomunikace a.s. joined the IQRF Alliance

České Radiokomunikace is a provider of a television, radio and internet infrastructure in the Czech Republic. It provides its customers with high-quality delivery of media content.

Communication Investments Europe Sarl, a company ultimately majority owned by Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund II is the 100% owner of stock in České Radiokomunikace. Macquarie is a leading global infrastructure manager. IQRF Alliance members together with CRA can more easily bring its customers what they want from a wireless technology for IoT.
CRA is also a provider of own cloud which one of the biggest cloud platforms in the Czech Republic focusing on providing IT infrastructure. Having the infrastructure in the cloud helps reduce costs, removes worries about hardware or software, offers 24/7 support and high performance. The company also offers data center hardware and services, high-speed internet connection and also focuses on IoT. That is where IQRF and CRA meets. CRA already has experience in various IoT both wired and wireless technologies and is working on providing high-quality connection, infrastructure, and solutions to its customers. The IQRF Alliance is looking forward to helping create new solutions build on the IQRF wireless technology.
CRA works on combining IQRF and LoRa technologies:
As a part of its innovative activities in the Czech Republic, the CRA also works on building the LoRaWAN infrastructure. In connection with this, the CRA plans to combine IQRF with LoRa and aims to create at least 1000 transmission points of the LoRa CRA network. Battery devices will last for 10 years and the communication will be at -20 dB below the noise limit.
