Wireless sensor for oxygen monitoring at COVID units
Researchers from the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics VŠB-TUO have developed a wireless sensor monitoring oxygen concentration in the air at the covid units of the University Hospital in Ostrava, where doctors perform oxygen therapy treatments. However, these treatments are followed by an increased risk of a dangerous oxygen concentration or even fire and explosion.
Newsletter (2021/12)
We just sent our newsletter - you can find it here and subscribe to stay in touch with us.
In this issue you will find a lot of information about how our members solve various problems in buildings, cities, municipalities, agriculture and industry using IoT.
IoT for increased security: focused on municipalities and agriculture
How to prevent fires in haylofts or forestall the multiplication of pests? What to measure with outdoor sensors and how to deal with flash floods in municipalities?
Take a look at some solutions from IQRF Alliance members.
HACKATHON at Czech University of Life Sciences Prague 2021
In the week 23.–30. November 2021, the CULS hosted a Hackathon focused on the digitization of the CULS campus.
IoT in industry: focused on custom development for demanding customers
Challenging power plant tasks, explosive environments, and specific problems of ordinary companies. What have members of IQRF Alliance already successfully addressed using wireless technology and IoT?
IoT innovations in the city: focused on lights, safe crosswalks and bike paths
Replace old lights with new LED luminaires with wireless control and monitoring. You will avoid lengthy and costly fault detection, road closures and high service costs. Use the network of lights as the backbone for outdoor sensors. Ensure the crosswalks are safe with the help of suitable sensors and data processing. Take advantage of a solution for safe cycle paths with IoT.
IoT innovations in buildings: targeting sanitary, sensors and heating
How to optimize the operating costs of buildings thanks to smart sanitary technology, heating, monitoring and control with IQRF.
IQRF seminar - information and photos
It was our pleasure to meet those interested in IQRF at seminars at VSB TUO in Ostrava and at ZCU in Pilsen.
We bring you the presentation and photos.
IQRF Meetup - photos & presentations
We bring you presentations of members and photos from the event.
Thank you all for your participation and interest in what we do in the alliance.
It was a pleasure to meet everyone again.
IQRF Meetup - agenda
We already know the program!
Members with solutions for buildings, cities, agriculture, industry are here.
They will present their solutions and products for IoT in Prague, 15th September.

Temperature measurement in breeding tanks
Fish farming in the Czech Republic has for centuries focused on traditional production in ponds. But it is often limited by the non-productive functions of ponds, the amount of water, summer temperature, and the occurrence of various predators. Rising summer water temperature will be literally deadly.
How we exhibited at the Zeme zivitelka exhibition
Two of our members - MICRORISC and ADERA - exhibited together at the Zeme zivitelka exhibition. You could see wireless monitoring of temperature in hay, straw, or grain, temperature and humidity monitoring in rooms such as warehouses, production halls, establishments, you could find out how to optimally control pests. In all these cases, low-power IQRF technology can be used for transmission.
